Marketing Communication Manager

Optimum Physician Alliance is seeking a Marketing Communication Manager with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Marketing Communication Manager, reports to the Director of Network Operations and Services and will lead marketing and communication projects from conception through execution as it relates to, external constituents (physician and healthcare community) and internal staff members.  In addition, will work independently to identify new opportunities, measure results, and make recommendations on improvements to processes and campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a flexible working style and excellent communication skills who can think strategically and act tactically; is comfortable juggling multiple priorities and responsibilities, high emotional intelligence, and an excellent manager of both projects and relationships.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Produces and manages compelling content across full array of digital platforms and traditional communications channels, both internal/external.  Evaluates digital usage to maximize engagement.
  • Summarizes and synthesizes input from different teams and translates into marketing and communications plans, and timelines.
  • Responsible for designing, deploying, management, and analysis of the physician engagement and ad-hoc surveys.
  • Works collaboratively with other team members to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency throughout all types of collateral, ensures collateral and distribution channels are aligned with overall strategic mission of the organization-desired outcomes.
  • Develops timeline and drafts communications as needed and provides proactive management and ongoing review of key stakeholders needs (such as but limited to providers, OPA staff and organization, and networks.
  • Provides continuous review, analysis and application of relevant research of the market and competitive intelligence to identify segment needs, trends, threats, and opportunities.
  • Oversees planning and execution of provider events; ensures events are communicated timely to constituents, well organized and flawlessly executed.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with outside vendors, which may include, but is not limited to marketing designers, and suppliers.
  • Performs other related duties as requested. 

Education/Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business or other related field of study.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in marketing or communications in a business setting, healthcare preferred.
  • Content Management of digital platforms preferred.
  • InDesign and adobe Photoshop preferred

Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, both for line editing copy and for consistency in style and tone across all content.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment and manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities with tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Proven aptitude for quick, creative thinking with acute attention to detail.
  • Resiliency and flexibility to “drop everything” for changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, and project management skills
  • Interest in continuous growth and understanding of the healthcare environment and developing a comprehensive understanding of company’s services and resources
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.  Works successfully and effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint, with intermediate proficiency in Adobe, Visio, Photoshop and In-Design.
  • This position requires an understanding of health plan operations and content creation.

Other Job Specifications
Position requires:

  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving history required due to travel involved with this position. (DMV check will be conducted to review candidate’s driving record)
  • Must be able to work in an office environment
  • Must be able to occasionally attend off-site meetings, events, conferences
